This project was finished a while ago, but was missed and not added to the blog at the time. It is such a nice Porsche and the work that was completed looks fantastic, so better late than never...feast your eyes on this 1956 356 coupe in Red. Materials used were Cork leather interior, tan German square weave carpets and to finish a red leather dash.
Did you know that in Europe before the 1970s the police force continent wide didnt arrest lawbreakers in the type high performance saloon cars you see today, but instead drove early Porsche sports cars such the 356 Cabriolet... The year was 1960, Novermber 23rd, when Porsche delivered a White 356 Cabriolet, decked out in special equipment to the Police force in Dusseldorf. The car had quite a history, as in it's short 6 year term serving the Police it was driven 160,000km,
Work is underway on a 1967 912 soft window targa. The rear seats have been finished as you can see in the pictures below. The dash has been installed and we are working on the finishing touches throughout the car as we speak.
We just finished the restoration of this 1959 356 convertible d, the owner chose a full Red leather interior throughout and Oatmeal carpets to match. Tony Garcia and the team at Autobahn Interiors did a wonderul job. The car and owner will be reuinted quite soon as this baby is ready to leave our facility early next week.
