Autobahn Interiors are going global!
A few months ago Autobahn Interiors were contacted by a representative from Classic Porsche magazine in the UK and invited to advertise in their bi-monthly edition. The publishing is extremely popular with many avid loyal readers. We saw this as a great opportunity to reach out to international clients across the pond, and we are very excited at the prospect of potentially working with more of our distant cousins from the UK in the future. They have many early Porsche enthu

Sports seats galore!
There is a considerable amount of work that goes into one of the specific parts of our restoration process, and that is the seats, both covers and installation. Going forward we would like to start sharing close up shots of the intricate details that go into every stitch on every seat cover, the prints and fabrics used and the workmanship. It is a detailed process when preparing seats for our clients. Firstly the covers are taken apart so the base metal can be thouroughly

Autobahn Interiors recently worked on a 1957 Speedster once driven by none other than USA race car driver Bruce Jennings! A little history on the man behind the wheel of the Porsche Carrera Speedster 1957. On weekdays you would find Bruce R. Jennings Sr. behind a desk playing the role of a conservative insurance broker. Then once the weeekends came around he would trade the office life and climb behind the steering wheel of his Porsche Carrera Speedster and became a fearles

"Best of the Best 2014"!
A while back Autobahn Interiors worked on a 1967 Porsche 911 "S". The restoration was a success and we were featured in Classic Porsche magazine United Kingdom November / December 2014 edition! The article is called Best of the Best and we are very excited about making headlines across the pond! This particular model has quite a story behind it. The car was originally completed in October 24th 1966, finished in Irish Green with Black leatherette interior. It was then sold by

Is the Porsche 911 the best design ever...?
The Porsche 911 made its debut just over half a century ago and for that era in 1963 was considered a radical piece of automative design. It featured a rear mounted air cooled Six cylinder engine. Since the launch of this automative masterpiece very little has changed with regards to the design. The '911' bears a striking resemblance to the earlier '356' model. At breifings prior to launch it was indicated that the 911 will be offering more space inside. Even luggage space wa
